Piano & Flute Lessons

Approach

Lessons are both thorough and creative, individualized to the needs and goals of each student within a wider comprehensive curriculum:

Expectations

The academic year schedule includes a mix of weekly private lessons, group classes, rest weeks, and recitals.

Practicing, listening, and writing assignments are required of all students throughout each week for satisfying progress, understanding, and competency.

Parental involvement and support in and out of the lesson is essential for the youngest learners and evolves as children progress and mature.

  • New students are welcome to join the studio throughout the year given available space.

  • Summer session is optional and scheduled separately.

  • I teach both in person from my home in Northeast Minneapolis and to students anywhere online.

Get Started

  • I teach beginning through early advanced levels on piano and flute to kids, teens, and adults.

    Piano lessons can start as early as 1st grade and flute as early as 5th grade.

  • Adaptations are available for students with learning, neurological, and developmental differences.

  • Contests and solo festival opportunities are available for interested students.
